How important is weather to our daily lives?
People are intensely interested in how weather will affect their daily lives - weather is the number one reason that people watch local television news and it's one of the top five reasons that people surf the Web. This interest is fueled by the apparent increase in severe weather in recent years. Research suggests an increase in the frequency and intensity of hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and hailstorms since 1970. My-Cast is a powerful tool to help consumers make better decisions, and keep them safer when severe weather threatens.
